I cried but the sun laughed,
I danced at the edge of the moon,
the stars wished I fell off,
I tried catching my breath, my lungs failed me,
and yet my body rejects me,
I seek joy,
the earth repels my aim,
thunder strikes my purpose in two,
now the universe rejects me,
so where is love ?
where's the refuge she provides,
where is the peace she gives,
instead, she gave me pain as relief,
she unleashed jealousy on me,
Now I'm drenched in tears,
rain has deserted me,
Now my soul is in drought,
the universe laughs at me,
everything stands against me,
here I am,
I stand alone.
